The Pocatello City Council approved the consent agenda in a single motion covering claims, the treasurer’s report and several advisory board appointments.

Items approved included: (A) material claims for the period Dec. 16–31, 2024; (B) the treasurer’s report for November 2024 showing cash and investments as of Nov. 30, 2024; (C) confirmation of the mayor's appointment of Dakota Neifert to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Committee with a term from Jan. 3, 2025 to Jan. 3, 2028 to fill a long‑term vacancy; (D) confirmation of the mayor's appointment of Amy Commendador to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board replacing Catherine Hickock, with a term from Jan. 3, 2025 to Jan. 3, 2027; and (E) reappointments of Kristen Jensen and Molly Becerrais to continue serving on the Pocatello Regional Airport Commission, with Kristen’s term listed from Jan. 4, 2025 to Jan. 4, 2027 and Molly’s term from Jan. 18, 2025 to Jan. 18, 2027.

The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Council member Cheatham and seconded by Council member Paulson. The city clerk called the roll; recorded responses were yes and the motion carried.

Why it matters: The consent agenda bundles routine administrative and personnel items so the council can act efficiently on clerk‑submitted claims, financial reports, and mayoral appointments. The appointments fill advisory board vacancies and continue commission representation.
