Weber County commissioners appoint Sharon Bolos chair, Gage Froer vice chair for 2025

The Weber County Commission on Jan. 7 formally appointed Commissioner Sharon Bolos as chair and Commissioner Gage Froer as vice chair for 2025. The nomination was made from the dais and approved by roll call.

Commissioners framed the move as a routine leadership rotation. The nominating commissioner moved that Bolos be appointed chair and Froer be appointed vice chair; another commissioner seconded the motion. A roll-call vote followed. The motion carried with commissioners recorded as voting "aye." The commission then recognized the outgoing chair and exchanged brief remarks.
