Commissioners approve minutes, adjourn; staff announces permanent development services manager

The Bonney Lake Planning Commission approved the minutes from its Dec. 4 meeting and then adjourned on Jan. 8 after routine business.

A motion to approve the Dec. 4 minutes was moved and seconded and carried on a voice vote: “All those in favor of approving the minutes, say aye.” The chair declared the minutes approved. Later in the meeting a motion to adjourn was moved and seconded and carried on a voice vote.

Staff also announced a personnel update. The Public Services Director said that "Lauren has been officially named the Development Services Manager for the City of Bonney Lake" and that the City Council voted to confirm the director’s permanent appointment on Dec. 16. The director said the planning team is fully staffed with permanent positions.

The commission did not take additional formal action at this meeting; staff said they will return with updates on the draft work plan and the dog-park CIP at future meetings.
