Two candidates file for two open Warren Co. R-III board seats; no election required

The board announced that candidate filing for the upcoming election closed with two candidates for two open seats, meaning no contested election will be required.

A board staff member reported, "we have, 2 people signed up for 2 spots. So Keith Harbison and Stephanie Tibbetts have signed up. And, so since there's 2 for 2, we will not need an election." The board chair thanked Sarah Jane and Ginger Shane for their service to the board and said a formal recognition will occur in April.

The speaker said both new designees had planned to attend the meeting but were unable to do so; the board noted they will meet the candidates at a future meeting and complete the administrative steps required for the uncontested appointments.
