Representative Brooke Green informed the Idaho House of Representatives Jan. 15 that, pursuant to “title 67412 Idaho code,” she had designated Annie Morley of Boise as a qualified substitute for District 18, Seat B, effective Jan. 15 and continuing through Jan. 21, 2025, the House clerk announced.

The letter stating the designation was filed in the chief clerk’s office, and the clerk told members that the oath of office had been previously administered to Morley, enabling her to serve during the stated period.

The House took no separate vote on the designation during the reading; the communication was entered into the record and welcomed by members present.

Clerks recorded the filing as a formal communication to the body; no additional conditions or limitations on the substitute’s authority were stated in the letter read to the chamber.
