Several procedural motions were also adopted: the board voted to receive and place on file communications, to suspend the regular order of business for public addresses, to remove item 12.3 from the agenda, and to add item 14a (an executive session item) to the agenda. The board later convened an executive session for discussion concerning the appointment, employment, performance, evaluation, health, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.
