The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors adopted a set of 20 organizational resolutions introduced by the chair of the board at its 2025 organizational meeting. The resolutions cover procedural matters (rules and meeting schedule) and appointments to county boards, authorities and advisory bodies; each resolution was presented with a budget impact statement of "no budget impact."

Clerk staff read the resolutions aloud. The packet included: Resolution 1 rescinding Resolution 1 of 2024 and adopting the 2025 rules of the Board; Resolution 2 adopting the boards 2025 regular meeting schedule; Resolution 3 authorizing blanket official undertakings for county officers; Resolution 4 designating official county newspapers; Resolution 5 appointing directors to the Saratoga County Soil and Water Conservation District; Resolution 6 appointing members to the tourism advisory committee; Resolution 7 appointing members to the Fish and Wildlife Management Board, Region 5; Resolution 8 appointing members to the Saratoga County Fire Advisory Board; Resolution 9 appointing members to the Saratoga County Water Authority Board; Resolution 10 appointing directors to the Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership, Inc. Local Development Corporation; Resolution 11 appointing members to the Saratoga County Industrial Development Agency; Resolution 12 appointing commissioners to the Saratoga Lake Protection and Improvement District; Resolution 13 appointing directors to the Saratoga County Capital Resource Corporation; Resolution 14 appointing a member to the Albany Airport Authority Regional Advisory Board; Resolution 15 appointing a member to the board of ethics; Resolution 16 appointing members to the Saratoga County Community Services Board; Resolution 17 appointing Saratoga County Commissioners of Elections; Resolution 18 appointing a member to the Ethics Advisory Council; Resolution 19 appointing commissioners to Saratoga County Sewer District Number 1; and Resolution 20 appointing members to the Saratoga County Traffic Safety Board.

A motion to adopt all resolutions as presented was made, seconded and approved by roll call. In response to a call for separate votes, none were requested. The clerk recorded "Yes" votes from the supervisors present and the chair announced the motion passed. The clerk and staff were directed to pass out the chairmans appointments that had been prepared and distributed at the meeting.

Ending: After adoption of the resolutions and distribution of chairman's appointments, the board heard no additional comments and adjourned following a motion and second.
