The U.N. spokesperson said another "massive wave of overnight attacks" across Ukraine killed and injured civilians, including children, and damaged multiple residential buildings, a school and a kindergarten in Kharkiv, as well as energy and port facilities in several regions. He said Ukraine's Minister of Energy reported nationwide impacts to energy infrastructure, triggering emergency blackouts in many regions.

The spokesperson said U.N. and humanitarian partners were supporting impacted communities and complementing the state emergency services. He reported that in the Kherson region an interagency humanitarian convoy reached Uderzein, a frontline community, delivering "11 metric tons of assistance for some 1,000 residents" including food, hygiene and dignity kits, warm blankets, solar lamps and medical supplies. He said this was the 24th humanitarian convoy to hard-hit areas of the region this year.

The U.N. said it is on the ground supporting communities and continues coordination with national authorities and partners.
