Todd County names representatives to Todd Wadena Community Corrections governing boards

At the meeting, county staff asked the board to appoint two Todd County commissioners to serve on the Todd Wadena Community Corrections Executive Committee and Advisory Board, per the joint powers agreement formed in 1976 under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 401.

Commissioners Margaret Becker and Commissioner Nasca were named to represent Todd County on the corrections board. The board then adopted a resolution appointing full membership to both the executive committee and advisory board; the resolution was moved and carried by voice vote.

County staff said they would present the same appointments to the Wadena County board after this meeting, consistent with the joint powers agreement that governs the two-county corrections program.
