Representative Andera, who introduced the resolution, told lawmakers EMS personnel “respond and assist as soon as it is possible” in car accidents, pandemics and household emergencies. “Emergency medical services is an important part of the first responder family,” Andera said.
The resolution was adopted after brief remarks and a roll call that the clerk recorded as 68 ayes with 1 excused.
