For the record, Danielle Kreech, staff to the committee, noted the committee had already held a hearing on the appointment earlier in the week. The committee later moved and seconded a report recommending confirmation. The chair called for the voice vote, and the chair ruled that the appointment had received a confirmation recommendation "subject to signatures."
