An EMS representative reported monthly metrics to the board, noting call volumes, transfers, training and quality recognitions.

The representative said the service ended 2024 with about 80 fewer calls than in 2023, and that response times remain within contractual targets. Transfers included six emergent and 51 non-emergent runs in the month reported. The speaker said there were about 71 classes taught with approximately 518 students and several public-relations events.

Mutual aid intercepts were lower this month, the speaker said, and the service achieved recognition for quality metrics, described as a "4 gold status" on stroke and sepsis care. The representative also reported three emergent mutual-aid intercepts and six public relations events for the period covered by the report.

Board members asked no substantive questions during the report. The EMS representative left the report in the meeting packet for review.
