Council votes unanimously to hold executive session for legal updates, records and procurement training

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — During the council’s Saturday focus session, the council voted to meet in executive session for legal training and advice.

Mayor (on the record) moved that the council go into executive session “for the purpose of obtaining legal advice and training updates regarding quasi‑judicial matters, open meeting and records law, procurement policies, and council’s future action process as permitted by CRS 24‑6‑402(4)(b).” Council Member Hinkle seconded. The council took a unanimous voice vote in favor.
