The Planning Board granted a requested minor modification Feb. 11 for planning board file (listed as file 8917) at 238 Grove St., the future Aqua Tots swim school tenant, after staff found outstanding items had been addressed.

Assistant Director Connor Murphy told the board that Aqua Tots had earlier received a conditional special permit and that staff’s compliance review identified outstanding issues. Murphy said the applicant and property owner had provided new dumpster enclosures and a landscaping plan that results in a net increase in plantings compared with the prior plan. He told the board “they’re in compliance at this point.”

Member Kent moved to approve the requested minor modification; Member Connolly seconded the motion. The board recorded the motion as approved with all members present answering “Aye.”

Murphy noted contractors were beginning to pull permits for tenant improvements at the vacated CBS space where Aqua Tots will locate. No additional conditions beyond those in the staff report were recorded at the meeting.
