Committee advances reauthorization of income-tax checkoff for Oklahoma Wildlife Department diversity program

Representative Mins presented a working draft to reauthorize an income-tax checkoff that supports the Oklahoma Wildlife Department's diversity program, and the committee voted 6-0 to report the draft out with a do-pass recommendation.

"This bill, the working draft that we're working from is just, reauthorizing the income tax check off for the Oklahoma wildlife department, diversity program," Representative Mins said when presenting the measure and moved for passage after yielding to questions. Committee members indicated no debate and the chair opened the voting queue.

A roll call resulted in a unanimous tally of six yeas and no nays, and the chair announced the bill would be reported out of committee with a due pass. No amendments or fiscal details were discussed on the record during the presentation.
