SALEM, Mass. — The Salem City Council on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, voted to grant two secondhand-dealer licenses for businesses seeking to operate in the city.

The council approved a license for Refined, a secondhand-clothing dealer at 72 Washington Street, and a license for Second Chance Video Games, a secondhand-valuable dealer at 10 Colonial Road. The items were presented together and the council moved and approved both licenses during the meeting held in the City Council Chambers at 90 3 Washington Street.

Councilor Cohen moved to grant the licenses; the motion was seconded by Councilor Morrison. The council conducted a voice vote with no recorded roll-call tally; the chair announced the matter carried.
