Plano begins installing digital traffic signal cabinets on State Highway 121

Steve Stoler, Plano's media relations director, reported that the city's Traffic Engineering team is installing Traffic Signal Control Cabinets along State Highway 121.

Stoler described the cabinets as containing equipment "to control traffic signals, cameras, and other devices needed at intersections" and called the change "a quantum leap in technology from analog to digital."
