Campton Hills trustees approved HR Green to continue as the village engineer and corrected typographical errors in the agenda language during the Feb. 18 meeting.

Trustee Ed Muncie moved to amend agenda item 4(d) so the reappointment reads, “motion to approve and consent to the village president’s reappointment of HR Green to serve as village engineer for a term of 02/18/2025 to 04/30/2026.” Trustee Williams seconded; roll call votes recorded ayes from Trustees Muncie, Boatner, McAlvey, Williams and Burson and President Wieneke declared the motion passed.

The board then amended item 4(e) to read, “Motion to approve resolution 25-08 accepting the proposal from HR Green for village engineering services for a term to expire 04/30/2026.” Trustee Burson seconded; roll call again recorded ayes from all trustees. President Wieneke announced the motion passed.

The clerks noted the changes were corrections of typographical errors on the agenda. No substantive changes to the scope of services or term were recorded during the meeting.

The village’s engineering services contract language was corrected and accepted by unanimous roll call; staff will reflect the amended wording in the official minutes and associated resolution documentation.
