The Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Danvers accepted a withdrawal without prejudice of an application for 15 Oak Street at its Feb. 24 hearing.

The applicant, Craig Hartwell, filed a request for a finding under Section 3, Paragraph 12 of the Town of Danvers Zoning By-law to expand an existing single-family home into a duplex on a pre-existing nonconforming lot due to size. At the hearing the board noted receipt of a letter dated Feb. 4 from Hartwell and the applicant informed the board that he wished to withdraw the request.

Board member motioned to withdraw the case without prejudice; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. The record shows the withdrawal passed and no further action was taken by the board on that docket at the hearing.

No public testimony or additional discussion on the merits of the underlying request was recorded.
