A Town of Danvers commission meeting scheduled for tonight was canceled after organizers said fewer than the required three members were physically present.

A staff member announced on the call, "So we need 3 members to physically present," and later told attendees, "we do need to cancel tonight's meeting," citing the lack of a physical quorum. The staff member repeated that "we're not gonna be able to vote on anything tonight" and said the session would be postponed to March 13.

The cancellation followed technical difficulties for some remote participants. One attendee said they had been in the waiting room for about 20 minutes and could not get admitted; the staff member acknowledged the trouble and apologized to applicants and other attendees. The staff member also read or quoted an email from an absent member saying, "sorry for the short notice. I can't make it tonight."

Organizers told applicants they would be contacted the following day. The staff member said, "I'll be in touch with all applicants tomorrow," and apologized for the inconvenience.
