The NEARIE Building Committee communication subcommittee on Feb. 28 approved three sets of prior meeting minutes and authorized release of a project postcard following consultation with the town clerk on logistical details.

The chair moved to approve three sets of minutes (Dec. 16, 2024; an item listed as 1/30/2025; and Jan. 17, 2025) and a second by Roger carried the motion. The meeting record shows a roll-call vote: Roger responded "Aye," and the other voting member also recorded "Aye." The minutes motion was approved unanimously by the two members present.

Later in the meeting the subcommittee reviewed a draft one-page postcard summarizing key dates, a QR code and a link to project materials. Committee members suggested minor edits (for example, spelling out "Algonquin Regional High School" rather than using the acronym "ARHS" so visitors would not be confused) and recommended consulting the town clerk about occupancy and voting logistics before printing and distribution.

The chair moved to approve release of the postcard after consultation with the town clerk; Roger seconded. A roll-call vote again recorded Roger "Aye" and the other member "Aye." The motion passed.

The subcommittee also scheduled its next meeting and adjourned by unanimous voice/roll-call vote.

No budgetary authorizations or policy changes were made; both votes were procedural and concerned record keeping and communication materials.
