The Master Plan Implementation Committee approved minutes from the Jan. 30 meeting and scheduled its next meeting for April 10 at 5:30 p.m. Members also discussed trying AI tools to assist with minutes.
Sam moved to approve the Jan. 30 minutes; Will Warren seconded. "All in favor, say I," the chair said; Debbie, Will Warren, Sam and Judith all said "I/aye," and the motion passed by voice vote.
Members discussed using AI tools to produce minutes or transcripts; one MPIC member said several organizations are testing AI for meeting minutes and that Zoom and other services offer post-meeting transcriptions. MPIC volunteers agreed to experiment with their preferred AI tools on a trial basis.
The committee set its next meeting for April 10 at 5:30 p.m. and agreed that someone would take minutes in Judith's absence. At the end of the session, an MPIC member moved to adjourn, Will Warren seconded, and the committee approved adjournment by unanimous voice vote.
