During the employment portion of the meeting the board accepted two resignations and one retirement and approved acceptance of an anonymous donation to the district backpack program.

- Resignation of Desirée Labbe, first-grade teacher at Hanson School, effective this fall (motion and second recorded; voice vote in favor).
- Retirement of Chuck Bridal, history teacher at Noble High School after 28 years of service (motion and second recorded; voice vote in favor).
The board also accepted an anonymous donation of $10,000 for the district backpack program and moved to send a letter of thanks while honoring the donor's wish to remain anonymous. A motion to accept the donation was seconded and approved by voice vote.
