The Hendry County School Board recorded several formal actions during the April meeting.

- Consent agenda: The board approved the consent agenda with item G removed for separate consideration. Motion by Mister Samberdijk, second by Miss Nelson. Vote: 4-0.

- Personnel allocation: The board approved a new personnel allocation as presented. Motion by Miss Nelson, second by Mister Samberdijk. Vote: 4-0.

- Food-service management (RFP): The board authorized the superintendent to negotiate with Sodexo and proceed with awarding the food-service contract contingent on successful negotiations of price and terms, and requested quarterly operational reports from the vendor. - Revised 2025–26 calendar: The board approved a revised 2025–26 calendar that replaces a short two-day interval at the end of the first nine weeks with a full week fall break; the calendar retained professional development time and sufficient minutes to meet state requirements. Motion moved and seconded; vote 4-0.
