A student council representative told the Hampden‑Wilbraham School Committee about a student‑run pickleball tournament fundraiser and other student activities.

The student council representative said the tournament will be hosted at Great Horse, which provided a portion of the facility free of charge; teams can enter for $20, food trucks will attend, and a large share of proceeds will support the CJ Cronin Memorial Scholarship. The representative also reported a school‑wide “wall of hearts” activity tied to National You Are Beautiful Week and that the council holds a Gold Council of Excellence designation from the National Association of Student Councils.

Committee members congratulated the student council and encouraged broader publicity for the fundraiser.
