The Colorado Ag Behavioral Health Working Group outlined a work-plan structure and asked members to sign up for three subcommittees to help move goals required by the senate bill into action.
Clinton Wilson of Colorado State University, who led the meeting, explained that a goal spreadsheet is available on the meeting agenda and asked members to add their names under the subcommittee that matches their interests. "Put your name in one of those, underneath one of those groups," Wilson said, urging prompt sign-ups so the group can organize and begin meeting.
The three proposed subcommittees are: compiling best practices; identifying gaps and collecting outcome data; and engaging other stakeholders and partners. Members discussed access permissions to the shared spreadsheet and Rosie Scovern of the Colorado Department of Agriculture offered to assist members who had trouble editing the file.
The group discussed procedural requirements: subcommittee meetings will need to be posted as public gatherings so members of the public may listen in, and organizers will receive follow-up instructions about making meetings publicly accessible.
The working group also agreed to use the spreadsheet to track responsibilities mapped to goals from the enabling senate bill and to return to the full group at the next meeting with more organized subcommittee plans.
Ending: Members were asked to add their names as soon as possible and to contact Rosie Scovern for help accessing the shared materials.
