Operations staff reported that the water tanks are full, no winter leaks were detected, and the system ran normally over the winter. The operations update covered several implementation items:
- Meter installations: Staff said the replacement meters are battery-operated and will be installed inside homes where practical; they will need to verify pipe sizes and ordering specific meters for each location. Staff noted they will prepare homeowner notification letters before entering homes.
- Rehabilitation and seeding: The main waterline rehabilitation and associated revegetation were discussed. A project representative recommended seeding soon after ground disturbance for best establishment; staff proposed coordinating seeding with the contractor and preparing a project timeline for the season.
- SCADA and monitoring: Staff said SCADA infrastructure will allow operators to monitor flow and constant-flow alerts. That data is expected to help detect unusual usage and to plan infrastructure work.
- Equipment and roads: Crews repaired grader and loader issues and plan brining and grading work in the coming weeks. Staff reported some parts and service costs for forced regeneration of equipment DPF systems.
Board direction included asking Brandon and Brady to identify problem locations, prepare a concept plan for drainage in the condo village, and for Brandon to prepare a detailed schedule so the board can review progress at next month's meeting.
