The commission approved a lease agreement for a tenant at 408 East Main Street (the Tajerina Complex) to permit Maria Gracia to operate a tutoring business.

City staff explained the suite was available and that Maria Gracia would use the space to provide one-on-one tutoring for elementary students. Gracia's daughter described the services: low-cost, individualized tutoring focusing on reading and math. The mayor and commissioners praised the prospective tenant's community service history and approved the lease by unanimous vote.

The approval was routine: staff will finalize lease paperwork and coordinate tenant move-in and necessary occupancy requirements with code enforcement and planning.
