The Magnolia Independent School District Safety & Security Committee said the small Pre-K playground at Williams Elementary will be moved from the front of the school to the back of the building so it sits inside perimeter fencing.

Staff described the relocation as a summer project that will begin right after school is out and said the change is intended to make the playground compliant with Texas Education Agency guidelines. No questions or public comments were recorded on the item during the meeting.

The committee did not provide a construction schedule beyond noting the work will occur during the summer; other campus security projects were also discussed during the meeting.
