The Cliffside Park Board of Education honored students from Cliffside Park High School who earned first- and third-place finishes in the New Jersey Real World Design Challenge and presented plaques to them in open session.

Board members and district administrators also presented Teacher of the Year awards for each school and named an Educational Specialist of the Year. Honorees mentioned in the meeting record include Elizabeth ("Liz") Layton (reading support), Jennifer McCray (School 4), Juana Morales (School 5), a School 6 teacher recognized for leadership in ELA, Allison Palmeri (middle school), Linda Donato Jennings (high school), and Megan Haney (district educational specialist).
