The Franklin Public School District board approved a 10-year capital improvement plan after discussing the document and a late addition.

District staff said they had presented a two-year portion of the plan at the prior meeting and provided the full 10-year plan in the packet. A teaching-and-learning portion identified during review was added the day after the packet was compiled and included in the updated plan.

A board member moved to approve the 10-year capital improvement plan as presented; another member seconded the motion. The board voted in favor and the motion passed.

Board members and staff noted the plan lists recently completed projects and identifies upcoming projects; the plan will guide prioritization of capital work and funding requests.
