Committee OKs shared-services agreement with school district to share aerial lift through NJ LEAP program

The Lacey Township Committee approved Resolution 2025-187 authorizing a shared-services agreement with the Lacey Township Board of Education for shared use of an aerial lift through the New Jersey LEAP program.

Committee members moved and seconded the resolution and approved it by roll-call vote at the May meeting. The agreement allows the municipal government and the board of education to share an aerial-lift asset under the established NJ LEAP shared-services framework; the resolution authorizes execution of the agreement and sets terms as presented in the meeting packet.

A committee member requested an abstention on a separate bills vote later in the meeting; no conflicts were raised with the aerial lift agreement during the resolution discussion.
