The Committee on State Affairs reconsidered an earlier vote on House Bill 3385 and then reported the measure to the full Senate with a recommendation that it do pass. A motion to reconsider was made without objection, and the committee recorded a roll-call vote after debate and adoption of a committee substitute.

Senator Shortner moved that House Bill 3385 be reported to the full Senate with the recommendation that it do pass. The clerk called the roll; the committee recorded six ayes and four nays on the motion. Committee members noted a committee substitute had been adopted and that Senator Hancock had laid out the bill earlier on behalf of Representative King.

With the favorable committee report, HB 3385 will move to the full Senate for further consideration.
