The Everett City Council on Wednesday adopted the 2025 consolidated plan and the 2025 annual action plan and authorized the mayor to execute the 2025 grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Council member Ryan moved adoption and an unnamed council member seconded; the clerk recorded unanimous support from the six council members present (Vice President Zarlingo, Council members Fosse, Bader, Ryan, Vogelie and President Schwab). The motion passed and the mayor was authorized to execute the HUD grant agreement.

The council did not discuss the plan at length during this meeting; the action was taken as part of the consent/regular agenda items and the clerk recorded the roll call vote. The resolution and grant paperwork will be executed per existing city procedures.
