The Upper Darby School District board on Oct. 8 recognized Dina Koser Hanna for 25 years of service as a social worker in the district.

Dina Koser Hanna was introduced during the meeting and honored for serving multiple schools in the district, including Aronimic Elementary School, Drexel Hill Middle School, Upper Darby High School and Highland Park Elementary School. The presenter noted Hanna’s collaborative approach and long-term relationships with families as reasons for the recognition.

The presentation also named Alice Schubach as another 25-year honoree; the transcript records that Schubach could not attend the meeting and will be recognized at an upcoming faculty meeting.

No board action was required for the recognition; the acknowledgement was ceremonial and included congratulations from board members and staff.
