Crawford County officials announced an informational meeting on the county's comprehensive-plan survey and zoning for 6 p.m. June 5 in the Third Floor courtroom at the Crawford County Courthouse.

The meeting, the commission said, is intended to give landowners and other residents an opportunity to review the survey and ask questions before they respond. Commissioner Jim said Joshua Alvin will lead the presentation and that staff will livestream the event for those who cannot attend in person.

County staff earlier distributed a mailer with a QR code and alternative instructions for completing the survey, including a phone option and a website address. Lisa, a county staff member, said residents can "scan this QR code, if you have a smartphone type deal, or type in this address" and also call the listed phone number to request assistance.

Commissioners said the meeting grew out of landowners' requests for more detail on the survey and zoning provisions. Jim told residents attending the meeting to bring questions and said Alvin would have prepared materials and take questions following the presentation.
