Finance committee advances Allentown School District’s 2025–26 budget to full board

The Allentown School District finance committee of the whole voted Tuesday to forward the district’s proposed fiscal-year 2025–26 budget to the regular board meeting for approval.

Mr. Cuff, presenting the item on behalf of the finance office, introduced the budget as the first of 11 action items on the committee agenda. After no substantive discussion from committee members, a motion to send the budget to the full board was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.

The committee record shows a short procedural discussion and no amendments or roll-call vote recorded at the finance meeting. The item will return to the board for final consideration and an official vote at the regular meeting.

The finance committee did not provide additional line-item details during the presentation; district staff indicated the budget package would be before the full board at the next meeting for more complete review.
