The council voted to authorize an agreement with NexSight LLC to continue research, marketing and site selection assistance for retail recruitment; staff described the contract as performance-based and credited the firm with recent retail relocations and recruitment work.
The Enterprise City Council authorized the mayor to execute an agreement with NexSight LLC to provide research, marketing and consulting services aimed at retail recruitment.
Jonathan Tullos summarized the city’s relationship with the firm, which the city first engaged roughly three to four years ago to assist with retail recruitment and market research. “They attend international shopping center trade shows, speak to developers, and really help … to market property,” he said, adding that the firm’s work supported retail decisions such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Planet Fitness and others returning to the market.
Tullos described the contract as performance‑based: the firm does not receive a guaranteed annual retainer; instead the city pays based on successful outcomes and agreed performance metrics. The council voted on the authorization in the regular session and the motion carried.
