The Red Bluff City Council reported out of closed session on June 17 that it approved a settlement with Paymentus in the amount of $20,000.

The council said the motion to approve the settlement was made by Mayor Pro Tem Gonzalez and seconded by Council Member Clement. The meeting minutes record affirmative votes and indicate the settlement agreement, once executed by both parties, will be made available in the court file.

City staff also reported that a second legal matter was discussed in closed session; no reportable action was taken on that item and no direction to staff was announced in open session.
