The Decatur County Alcoholic Beverage Board approved automatic renewals for two alcoholic beverage permits at a brief meeting July 9, 2025, after staff reported no violations and said no members of the public attended.

Gibson, with the State Excise Police, opened the meeting and noted the board members present and that “the record reflect[s] that there is no person in attendance for this meeting.” Gibson reported the renewals were automatic because there were no violations tied to the permits.

The permits approved for automatic renewal were RR1632570 for Boraya, Inc., listed on Main Street in Greensburg, and RR1636628 for Whomass Corporation, also in Greensburg. The board voted on a motion to approve the two renewals; a motion and second were recorded and members answered “aye,” and the motion passed. The transcript does not identify who moved or seconded the motion by name.

Board members present at the meeting were Michael McCoy, William Handler and Ray Dom Hess, in addition to Gibson. The board also noted that three renewals are scheduled for the next meeting on Aug. 13, 2025.

No violations, contested objections or public comments related to the renewals were recorded. The board adjourned after the routine business.
