At the June 24, 2025, Committee of the Whole meeting, the City of New Berlin voted unanimously to recommend that the common council approve an underground electrical easement with We Energies to construct electrical service at 16530 West National Avenue.

The request was presented as “discussion and possible action to recommend to the common council approval of an underground electrical easement with We Energies to construct an electrical service at 16530 West National Avenue as outlined in the RAS.” The committee moved, seconded and approved the motion by voice vote without additional public discussion recorded in the meeting minutes.

The easement recommendation will be forwarded to the common council for final approval. No terms of the easement, compensation, or construction timeline were read into the public record during the committee discussion.
