The Lake Forest Park City Council unanimously confirmed Linda Holman for a seat on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board during its July 10 meeting.

Councilmembers thanked Holman for decades of volunteer service in Lake Forest Park. Holman told the council she has lived in the city for 41 years and has served on previous park and community-service boards; she said she plans to focus on projects including the demonstration garden and stewardship work at Blue Heron Park.

A motion for final confirmation was made, seconded and the council voted in favor. The clerk recorded the motion as passing unanimously. No additional action was required.
