Board approves $1.584 million requisition for Pocomoke Elementary roof replacement

WORCESTER COUNTY, Md. — The Worcester County Board of Education approved requisition No. 1 for the Pocomoke Elementary School roof replacement project, authorizing $1,584,031.40 in payment at its July 14 meeting. Maintenance and operations staff provided a photo update showing demolition and installation progress and said contractors from Garland were on schedule; staff recommended approval of the requisition so work could proceed.
