Jared Black, the district business administrator, told the board most revisions involved updated definitions. He said one notable change removes "co-curricular" as a fee category and that the policy replaces the word "class" with "course" where appropriate.

The board moved and seconded the motion and voted electronically; the motion passed unanimously. The board chair said the revisions align district documents with recent statutory or regulatory language changes discussed during the legislative session.

The vote was a formal approval of drafted policy language; no further substantive amendments were proposed at the July meeting. The revised policy will be posted in board documents and the district’s policy pages, and staff will ensure the changes are reflected in school-level fee communications.
