The Monroe County Board of Commissioners approved continuation of the county’s contract with the Indiana Youth Services Association (YSB) on July 17 for the 2025–27 funding cycle.
Vanessa Schmidt, appearing online for YSB, asked the commissioners for signature on the continuation; staff said the county has participated in the program for several decades. The funding amount on the agenda was listed as $42,860 per year.
The motion passed unanimously with no public comment recorded at the meeting.
