Monroe County commissioners on July 17 appointed Dr. Michael Rushton to the County Historic Preservation Board of Review to complete an existing three-year term that ends Jan. 1, 2026.
Commissioner Jones moved the appointment and a colleague seconded; commissioners thanked Rushton for agreeing to serve. The vote was unanimous with no public comment recorded at the meeting.
The appointee will serve the remainder of the term through Jan. 1, 2026, per the motion.
