The Richland 1 Board of School Commissioners on June 24 approved several administrative hires and appointments and the hiring of 19 teachers for the 2025‑26 school year.

The administration recommended and the board approved the hires presented: CR as assistant principal at W.G. Sanders Middle School, TD as assistant principal at St. Andrews Middle School, and KH as assistant principal at Lower Richland High School. The administration also presented items 11.04 through 11.09 as administrative appointments and asked the board to take them in a single combined vote; the board approved them unanimously.

For personnel hiring, the administration recommended hiring 19 teachers (attached list) for the 2025‑26 school year; that motion passed unanimously. The administration presented each hire as a recommendation and the board moved, seconded and approved the slate of hires and appointments.

The personnel actions followed executive session consideration earlier in the meeting; the board returned to open session and approved the recommendations by recorded motion.
