Commission reappoints Seth Engleboer chair and Linda Williams vice chair; committee appointees continued

The Nantucket Conservation Commission opened its July 24 meeting with officer elections and committee appointments. Seth Engleboer was nominated and re-elected chair; Linda Williams was nominated and re-elected vice chair. Both votes were recorded by roll call as unanimous among members present.

Commissioners then voted to continue all current committee appointees for another one-year term and were reminded to be sworn in before the next meeting. Chair Engleboer asked a commissioner who was not the chair or vice chair to preside while nominations were taken; a member volunteered to act as chair pro tem for that portion of the meeting.

The chair and vice chair elections and committee appointments were procedural and took place before the public hearings later on the agenda.
