The committee adopted the district’s 2024–25 Louisiana compliance questionnaire, a required annual form completed in conjunction with the independent audit, and heard that the district’s auditors will be on site in September.

Mr. Fernandez, who spoke about audit timing, said auditors will perform preliminary work in August and be on site in September. When a board member asked about a serial-purchase limit on page two of the questionnaire, Fernandez said state law changed the threshold: "the current limit is $60,000," he said, noting forms may not all display the updated amount.

A motion to adopt the questionnaire was made and seconded; the committee approved the document 9-0 and will provide it to auditors ahead of their site work.
