Judiciary Committee approves listed refunds and demo permits

The Butte-Silver Bow Judiciary Committee approved a set of claims and refunds listed on the July 23 agenda. Chairwoman Thatcher read claims and refunds including a $600 demo refund to Ryan Obenhof, a $460 building- and excavation-permit refund to Ryan Obenhof, a $76.50 refund to Lockmore Plumbing for canceled work, and a $1,000 payment to Raised Heating and Sheet Metal for a demo. Additional refunds included $400 each for the dismantling of the Praxis building (Mark Supinich), for Dylan Matthews and for demolition of a hazardous structure at 407 Virginia Street, and $400 to Chad Farrigan for an old garage demo on Richardson Street.

A commissioner moved to approve the refunds as listed; the motion was seconded and the committee approved the refunds 4 to 0. The committee adjourned after the vote.
